Tempted (2001)

In the sultry heart of New Orleans, a deadly game of love and betrayal unfolds, involving wealthy businessman Charlie Le Blanc. Charlie, facing the cruel reality of his impending demise, grapples with the fate of his fortune and the loyalty of his stunningly beautiful, young wife, Lilly. Suspicion clouds his judgment, leading him to devise a provocative test of her fidelity. Charlie entices a charismatic young man, Jimmy Mulate, with an offer of $40,000 to seduce his wife. Initially, Jimmy rejects the proposition, but the allure of Lilly's beauty leaves him ensnared. He attempts to woo Lilly, only to be met with her steadfast loyalty to Charlie. However, when Charlie's secretary exposes the plot to Lilly, her fury pushes her into Jimmy's arms. Unbeknownst to the illicit lovers, Charlie, in a twist of Machiavellian cunning, has transformed their haven into a surveillance fortress, capturing every treacherous moment. When Charlie confronts Jimmy, the plot thickens as Jimmy, now helplessly in love with Lilly, denies any wrongdoing. Inadvertently, Jimmy has become a pawn in a lethal game of chess between husband and wife. With the truth unveiled, Charlie unveils a dark plan to mete out punishment, setting the stage for a climax filled with suspense and intrigue.
