In the shadowy world of juvenile delinquency, 17-year-old Jane Koberly finds herself caught in a web of crime and deceit. Innocently present at the scene of a brutal hold-up orchestrated by Terry Marsh, Mike Denton, and Al, she is wrongfully convicted as an accessory to their felonious deeds. Despite her innocence, both she and Terry are sentenced to a grim juvenile correction home, ushering in a chilling odyssey of terror and betrayal.
Their journey to the correction home takes an ominous turn when Mike, a dangerous criminal with a psychotic streak, ambushes their transport, resulting in the cold-blooded murder of a guard. A puppet in this terrifying game, Jane is coerced into joining the runaway criminals. They find themselves in a deadly car crash, forcing them to seek sanctuary in an unsuspecting farmhouse.

On the brink of insanity, Mike forces Jane and Ben into a daring car chase with the police hot on their heels. Abandoning the vehicle near an observatory, the climax of the movie unfolds with a desperate struggle for survival.
