When the endearing yet hopelessly clumsy detective Émilien Coutant-Kerbalec of the Marseille PD is tasked with guarding a notorious Belgian criminal, a whirlwind of chaos ensues. This felon, as menacing and crafty as Hannibal Lector, proves too hot to handle for the less-than-adept Commissioner Gibert, driving Émilien to enlist the help of his cool-as-ice taxi-driving friend, Daniel Morales. Daniel, known for his high-speed exploits around the city, initially agrees to keep an eye on their sons while Émilien's wife, Petra, is away on a classified mission.
However, when their Belgian charge makes a daring escape, Daniel's role swiftly evolves from a casual babysitter to Émilien's partner in crime-fighting. In their relentless pursuit of the escaped convict, they unwittingly stumble upon a bank heist in progress and the opulent villa of a menacing drug kingpin. As they navigate through this labyrinth of crime, the duo finds themselves in an explosive grand finale that promises to bring Marseille to its knees.
