In the quiet hours of the night, within the sterile walls of his modern psychiatric facility, Dr. Tremayne (Donald Pleasence) engages in a hushed conversation with his visiting contemporary, Nicholas (Jack Hawkins). He unfolds intriguing tales of four peculiar patients whose enigmatic cases he has successfully unraveled. In the first tale, "Mr. Tiger", we meet Paul (Russell Lewis), a delicate child born into affluence, yet trapped amidst his parents' incessant squabbles.
