Plot
An epidemic of something known as "white blindness" has fundamentally upended life in the city. Early attempts to contain the pandemic involve putting these victims of sudden blindness into quarantined communities together, but the disease quickly overcomes the entire city. Now chaos reigns, and organized groups of militias and bandits rule over everything and hold tight control of basic resources. One woman retains her sight in town, but she keeps quiet as she tends to her afflicted husband. As the world around her descends into insanity, her special talent could be her salvation — but it could also be a liability.
