Plot

In the desolate heart of a small town, a string of grisly murders shatters the silence. The ominous aura of death leads two FBI agents, Elizabeth Anderson and Sam Hallaway, to this forsaken outpost. Armed with their investigative acumen and an array of cameras, they transform three interview rooms into stages for a macabre performance. Their mission: to untangle the threads of this chilling massacre, perpetrated by a shadowy serial killer who has evaded their capture. Three survivors, each bearing their own scars and secrets, are thrust into the spotlight. A precocious nine-year-old girl named Stephanie, a young woman caught in the throes of drug addiction named Bobbi Prescott, and Jack Bennett, a brash, foul-mouthed cop nursing a bandaged hand. Each is ensnared in the web of this horrifying event, their lives forever marked by the bloodshed they've witnessed. Isolated in separate rooms, their testimonies are captured under the relentless gaze of the agents' surveillance cameras. Elizabeth forms a bond with Stephanie, coaxing out her account through drawings and conversation, while the local police chief interrogates the abrasive Officer Bennett. Simultaneously, two fellow officers probe into Bobbi's drugged haze, striving to glean the truth from her disjointed memories. As each survivor unveils their version of the dreadful events, a contradictory tapestry of accounts emerges. Veiled in inaccuracies and tinted by self-preservation, the survivors' stories offer glimpses of the actual horror that unfolded the day before. When three bodies surface in a nearby motel, the agents inch closer to the solution of this grotesque puzzle. However, can they, or anyone else, truly piece together this jigsaw of death and deception? Or will the truth remain buried under an avalanche of lies, forever obscured by the shadows of misremembered details? The answers lie within the stark confines of the surveillance rooms, where reality, fiction, and horror intertwine in a dance as deadly as the killer they seek.
