In the heart of Spain, Madrid, resides José Miguel Salcedo, better known as "Makey", a seasoned officer of the Local Police. With a quarter-century career under his belt, Makey is a by-the-book lawman, whose well-meaning but stubborn approach to his job leads to an unfortunate mishap involving the Real Madrid soccer team, resulting in their absence from the most significant sporting event in Spain. This incident forces his superior and old friend, Comisaría Cortés, to deliver a harsh ultimatum: retire or be relocated far from Madrid. Makey's journey takes him to Estepona, Málaga, where he finds himself out of his depth with advanced technology and new policing methods. Here, he meets his new superior, Comisaría Bonet, and Willy, an erstwhile CEO turned freewheeling hedonist, perpetually in a state of haze. He also reconnects with Lola, his estranged daughter working as a tour guide in the city. Fate intervenes when Makey apprehends Kolya, a dangerous Russian mobster sought by Europol. This victory offers a chance for father-daughter reconciliation and earns Makey a Russian medal. However, the celebration is cut short when Batista, a cohort of Kolya's, intervenes. He threatens Lola's life unless Kolya is freed within 96 hours. Desperate, Makey and Willy concoct a daring plan to infiltrate the prison with the help of Willy's past associates, aiming to free Kolya and ensure Lola's safety. When their plan spirals into chaos, Makey and Willy must devise a fresh strategy to rescue Lola before time runs out. This blend of intrigue, humor, and suspense paints a vivid picture of a man thrust into an unfamiliar world, striving to save the ones he loves.
