In the dark underbelly of Los Angeles, we find Ryder Hart, an ex-cop turned gritty private detective, tainted by disgrace. As he wrestles with his past, he's tied to the Sunset Grill, a bar run by his estranged wife, Anita. In a twist of fate, she's now romantically linked to Jeff, a detective from Ryder's own past.
