Plot

In the heart of the winter wonderland, Sun Valley, Jack Murray is on the hunt for a star-studded band to take center stage for the season. Vocalist Vivian Dawn, renowned for her enchanting voice, finds herself unexpectedly auditioning with the lesser-known Dartmouth Troubadours instead of her usual ensemble. Captured by their charm, Murray hires The Dartmouth Troubadours, provided Vivian remains the main attraction. Amidst this whirlwind, Vivian and the band's pianist, Ted Scott, find themselves drawn to each other, their affections budding like a delicate snowflake in the crisp winter air. However, a storm is brewing as a forgotten publicity stunt by the band's manager, Nifty Allen, comes to light. Aimed at raising the band's profile, they had pledged to sponsor an overseas child refugee, a commitment made under Ted's name, and the child is now en route. The plot thickens with the arrival of the 'child' who turns out to be the enchanting Norwegian, Karen Benson - a full-grown woman. With no prior plans to accommodate an adult, Ted is flustered, but Karen proves to be self-reliant with a sole mission - to fall in love and marry. Much to Ted and Vivian's chagrin, Karen sets her sights on Ted, sparking a flurry of emotions. Aided by Nifty, who himself is enamored by Karen, she navigates a maze of manipulation in her quest to win Ted's heart. As the ski slopes of Sun Valley become the backdrop for this romantic tangle, the temperature plummets, mirroring the frosty turn of events. The Dartmouth Troubadours may have arrived as a band but the season at Sun Valley could end with more than just music notes in the air.
