Plot
In the eerily silent and desolate streets of Paris, seven disparate families find themselves in a shared lockdown, confined to a building on the rue de l'Humanité. Among them, a café owner ingeniously repurposing her pear alcohol into a sanitizing gel, a virtual sports coach succumbing to his own sedentariness, his songbird fiancée, seven months into her pregnancy, dreading the prospect of a solitary hospital visit, and a self-made man grappling with the realization that his 8-year-old son may be intellectually superior. As the grip of the pandemic tightens, this microcosm of society experiences a roller coaster of emotions—joy, fear, humor, and drama, all in equal measure. Over the course of three fraught months, these families, once strangers, endure conflicts and reconcile differences, gradually weaving a tapestry of unexpected camaraderie and shared humanity.
