Plot

In the serene fishing village of Fly Creek, Georgia, life takes a sinister turn when an unexpected storm rips through the town, unleashing a devastating power line collapse that plunges the community into an abyss of darkness. This catastrophic event triggers a terrifying power surge, pulsating thousands of volts into the heart of the subterranean worm colonies, mutating these once harmless earth dwellers into an insatiable, flesh-hungry horde. From the bustling cityscape of New York, Mick embarks on a journey to Fly Creek, eager to meet his girlfriend Geri Sanders, who lives with her mother Naomi and sister Alma. However, Mick's arrival is met with hostility, not only from the stern Sheriff Jim Reston but also from Geri's smitten neighbour, Roger Grimes. As the tension escalates, the town's terror multiplies - the once humble earthworms have transformed into monstrous predators, their appetite for human flesh insatiable. Despite the escalating horror, Sheriff Reston dismisses the worm-infested nightmare as a twisted prank orchestrated by Mick, leaving the town's fate hanging in the balance. As the ravenous worms continue to consume everything and everyone in their path, the question looms - will there be an escape from the vengeful wrath of nature? Or will Fly Creek succumb to the crawling terror, forever consumed by the relentless plague of killer worms? This captivating journey of survival and horror is a chilling testament to the unstoppable power of nature's revenge.
