Plot

In the isolated peaks of the mountains, lives Trigger Hicks, a resilient loner who has made the wilderness her sanctuary. With the heart of a lioness and the gentleness of a doe, she has honed her survival skills, proving her mettle with both a prayer and a stone. Trigger carries the wisdom of the Bible in her pocket and the courage of her conviction in her heart, manifesting her faith in the form of healing. However, her unique expressions of faith and her solitary existence have led the superstitious locals to mistake her divine gift for witchcraft. Among the rugged landscapes and the murmuring whispers of witchery, two young engineers, assigned to build a dam in this remote area, stumble upon Trigger's world. One of them, the roving John Stafford, finds himself inexplicably drawn to the enigmatic mountain girl, revealing a side of her that is as delicate as it is strong. The tale takes a dramatic turn when Trigger, driven by her inherent sense of justice, rescues a maltreated child from its own parents. Caught between the hostility of the locals and the complexities of her own life, she seeks aid from the engineers. 'Spitfire' weaves a captivating narrative that delves into the dichotomy of faith and superstition, the strength within vulnerability, and the endless struggle between societal norms and personal conviction. This is a tale of survival, courage, and the profound human capacity for compassion and understanding.
