Spenser Confidential (2020)

Spencer, a hot-head Boston cop goes off the rails when he finds out his police captain is a wife beater. He pummels the captain senseless, but it earns Spencer a five-year prison sentence. Spencer gets released and plans to leave Boston for good. But then the police captain he once beat and one of his best friend cops suddenly wind-up dead. Spencer is suspected but then cleared. Now he’s determined to solve the murders. Spencer teams up with roommate, Hawk, a tough MMA fighter, and Cissy, a foul-mouthed ex-girlfriend. The unlikely trio will soon be knee-deep in dangerous trouble.
