In the pulsating heart of Mumbai, Raunaq Kaul steps off the train with nothing more than a guitar and a backpack, his dreams far outstripping his possessions. He soon finds an ally in Surinder Bhan, who ushers him into the throbbing nightlife of 'Charlie Tango', a notorious nightclub owned by the enigmatic Charlie. His only hope to stave off complete deafness is to distance himself from the music he loves, along with the drugs and alcohol that have become his constant companions. Battling his demons proves challenging, resulting in a heated clash that culminates in a tragic accident, robbing Raunaq of his remaining hearing.
