With a firm resolve, Rahne charts his course eastward, accompanied by his wife, Mouna, their three children, and their humble wealth— a handful of sheep, a few goats, and Chamelle, their hardy dromedary. Thus, "Sounds of Sand" unfolds as a poetic saga of exodus, an arduous journey of hope and destiny, etched against the unforgiving canvas of a desert.
Rahne and his family traverse treacherous terrains, under the scorching sun, their footsteps echoing the relentless rhythm of survival. Death, a constant companion, intersects their path more often than they would wish.
