Plot

In the pulsating heart of an unnamed city, the narrative of Sound of Noise unfolds, centered around Amadeus Warnebring, a tone-deaf police officer born into a musically prestigious family. The story unfolds as Warnebring embarks on a cat-and-mouse chase to apprehend a sextet of revolutionary percussionists, whose chaotic public performances send waves of terror throughout the city. Their symphony of rebellion, a series of drumming set pieces, aligns with an avant-garde score divided into four whimsically titled movements. Unlike their previous performances which transformed ordinary apartment furnishings into a vibrant orchestra, this time, the city's cultural and civic establishments become the drummers' playground. Each percussionist, dressed in sober attire, has an entertaining backstory that intertwines with their shared antagonist - the music-loathing Warnebring. Sound of Noise ingeniously transforms the monotonous, repetitive sounds of urban life into a visual and auditory feast, creating an immersive cinematic experience that appeals to both the eyes and ears. The plot weaves an intricate tapestry of defiance, music, and the ironic struggle of a tone-deaf officer in a city taken hostage by an unorthodox symphony.
