Heidi's life teeters on the precipice of childhood - a time of nursery rhymes and glitter-filled scrapbooks, and impending adulthood - a complex maze of work, emotional upheaval, sexual awakening, and the burden of societal judgement. Her attractive demeanor cloaks her loneliness, leaving her susceptible to the harsh realities of life.
Her path intertwines with Joe, a local rancher's son, whose dormant emotions are ignited in her presence.
