In a world where the veil of anonymity fuels digital confrontations, Socialphobia delves into the incendiary nature of social media interactions. A defiant woman who dares to challenge men on Twitter suddenly becomes a public nemesis, her identity ruthlessly exposed by vengeful young men who go as far as appearing on her doorstep. They are met with a chilling scene - the woman, MIN Ha-young, has met her end in an apparent suicide.
As the investigation unfolds, the film plunges into the murky depths of online identities, and the grim reality behind a woman's life that was lived in the crosshairs of public scrutiny. Caught in this web of intrigue are two aspiring police cadets, Ji-woong and Yong-min, who find themselves entangled in the mystery of Ha-young's death.
