Amidst the frost-kissed peaks of the Italian Alps, we meet Christian Biton, a suave ski instructor with a predilection for luxury. His affluent girlfriend, Monica Scotti, shares his tastes, and together they yearn for a lifestyle that's just beyond their means. Their solution? A daring plan to swipe the quarter of a million dollars that the winter resort they work at rakes in. They rope in Bob Skinner, a once-glorious ski racer now facing financial ruin, to add a touch of expertise to their audacious plot. As they navigate the icy slopes and deceptively tranquil chalets, the trio manages to pull off their high-stakes heist. But just as they prepare to bask in their ill-gotten wealth, an insurance investigator emerges from the shadows, threatening to bring their wintry dreams crashing down like an avalanche.
