The Great Escape (1963)

It's World War II, and a group of American POWs are imprisoned at a camp designed especially for the most problematic of prisoners. No one has yet to escape, but that's not going to stop Roger Bartlett. This isn't Royal Air Force commander's first attempt at an escape, but it is the boldest. His escape tunnel will hypothetically let dozens of men escape at once. But even if they do get away, they'll have to navigate their way through dangerous enemy territory as fugitives while they try to cross back over to friendly territory and reconnect with their allies.
