Plot
From a tender age, Sun-Mi (Lee Young-Ah) was no stranger to the sterile white walls of hospitals, her youth punctuated by persistent sickness and the haunting specter of a Myelodysplastic blood disorder diagnosis. However, amidst these trials, she found solace in the ephemeral beauty of snow and the enchanting world of fragrances. As an adult, Sun-Mi channels her passion into her profession as a perfumer, traveling extensively to capture the essence of exotic flowers and spices in her aromatic concoctions.
During one of her fragrance-hunting sojourns, Sun-Mi's path crosses with Sang-Woo (Park Hae-Jin), a compassionate and dedicated aquarium worker whose love for marine life matches her own affinity for fragrances. A mutual respect for nature’s treasures quickly blossoms into a deep and profound love. The seemingly ordinary Sang-Woo, unaware of Sun-Mi's latent illness, wholeheartedly proposes marriage, binding their destinies together.
As they navigate the uncharted waters of their love affair, they are swept into a whirlwind of challenges, testing the strength of their bond. The story of 'Snow in Sea Breeze' is a poignant exploration of love, resilience, and the enduring power of hope, woven into a tapestry of fragrant blooms, snowflakes, and sea breezes.
