In the bustling city of Vijayawada, a young man named Siva embarks on a quest for education, moving away from his hometown to live with his brother Sharath and his family. Although Sharath and his daughter Keerthi warmly welcome Siva, his sister-in-law views him as an unwelcome financial burden. Enrolling in the prestigious VAS College of Arts and Sciences, Siva forms a close-knit circle of friends and finds love in Asha, the sister of the city's upright police inspector, Venkat.
However, life on campus is far from serene. The unchallenged student-union president, a notorious character named J.Durga Rao or J.D, operates under the protective umbrella of a ruthless gangster, Bhavani, who himself serves the shady political figure, Machiraju. When Asha becomes the target of J.D's harassment, Siva retaliates fiercely, igniting a bitter rivalry with Bhavani's gang.
In an unexpected twist, Siva's friends urge him to stand for the student-union presidency, an idea Siva initially rebuffs, suggesting his friend Naresh instead. However, when Naresh is fatally assaulted by Bhavani's henchmen, Siva finds himself drawn deeper into the dangerous game of power and politics. He agrees to run for the presidency while simultaneously seeking to protect his loved ones from the escalating violence.
As Siva's influence grows, Bhavani sees a potential threat and begins a ruthless campaign against him, culminating in the tragic kidnapping and murder of Keerthi. Undeterred, Siva bravely fights back, assisting Venkat in arresting Ganesh, another member of Bhavani's gang. Meanwhile, Machiraju, intrigued by Siva's resilience, decides to switch his support from Bhavani to Siva.
In a climactic showdown, Siva and Bhavani face off on a shopping-complex terrace. Humiliated and cornered, Bhavani chooses to end his own life, leaving Siva, Asha, and Venkat to witness the harrowing aftermath. Thus, the story of Siva unfolds—a tale of courage, love, and survival in a world where power and crime intertwine, exposing the raw, brutal underbelly of student politics and gang rivalry.
