Plot

Sisters Jennifer and Meg Swift share a bond unbroken by distance. Jennifer, from Salt Lake City, juggles her late husband's successful restaurant and her son Simon's upbringing, while Meg, nestled in their hometown Hazelwood, aids their parents in managing the local bakery. This festive season, however, carries a tinge of nostalgia, marking their first Christmas without Uncle Dave, the former proprietor of The Madison, Hazelwood's cherished theater, and a vessel of countless family memories. Jennifer and Simon's holiday homecoming triggers a longing for one last yuletide celebration at The Madison, even as the theater stands on the brink of sale, awaiting much-needed refurbishment. Concurrently, Meg takes the reins at Jennifer's restaurant, stirring up a festive rivalry amongst Salt Lake's local eateries, with the victor's prize money destined for a charity. As the sisters swap cities and roles in the lead-up to Christmas, they embark on an unexpected journey of self-discovery, unearthing the true essence of their life desires and the depths of their hearts' longing for love.
