Seven Pounds (2008)

After his reckless actions leave him with a heavy conscience, Ben Thomas decides to seek out seven worthy people in a quest for atonement. He borrows his brother's identity as an IRS agent and begins interviewing people under the guise of a financial audit. As he finds worthy people, he donates parts of his body, including a kidney and part of his liver. Along the way, he falls in love with one of the women he's helping, and he's forced to choose between his affection for her and his path to redemption.
