Plot

In the heart of a rain-drenched city, two penniless vagabonds, Stan and Ollie, are given a stern command to "scram" by the irritable Judge Beaumont. As they wander the desolate, rain-soaked streets, fate leads them to a merry inebriate, whose spirits remain undampened despite the gloom. Touched by their plight, he invites the homeless duo to seek refuge in his seemingly luxurious home for the night. However, as they navigate their way into the mansion, they stumble upon a surprised lady who faints at their sudden appearance. In their innocent attempt to revive her, the vagabonds mistakenly use gin instead of water, leading to an unexpected, tipsy merry-go-round. Meanwhile, outside, the kindly drunkard realizes his blunder; he has guided his new friends not to his home, but someone else's. With a shrug, he disappears into the night, leaving Stan and Ollie to fend for themselves. As they slip into the owner's silk pajamas and make themselves at home, they remain blissfully unaware of the approaching storm. The real proprietor of the mansion eventually arrives, and to their horror, it's none other than the stern Judge Beaumont, who had ordered them out of town earlier. Caught in the lion's den, Stan and Ollie are left to face the music. Their innocent visit soon spirals into a whirlwind of comical confusion, with the wrath of the judge looming large over them. Yet, it was only a friendly and unintended intrusion, wasn't it? Tune in to "Scram!" to find out how this hilarious tale of mistaken identity unfolds.
