Plot

In the bustling heart of Delhi, freedom-loving, politician-loathing Anuradha Sehgal takes the bold leap to relocate to Mumbai. Here, she finds not only employment but also love, in the form of Vivek Chauhan, the ambitious Chief Minister hopeful. However, as she steps into the world of matrimony, she soon uncovers the double-faced nature of the Chauhan clan. Vivek, far from the ideal partner, is revealed to be a womanizing alcoholic who restricts her liberty and subjects her to physical abuse. The tides of Anuradha's life take a tumultuous turn when Vivek is imprisoned on charges of murder. Coerced by the Chauhans, she steps into the harsh political arena to contest elections in her husband's stead. As she navigates this daunting new world, she unveils the dark underbelly of intertwined underworld, corrupt law enforcement, greedy businessmen, and ruthless politicians. Her life hangs in balance, threatened not only from the external forces but also amidst the burning suspicions of her traditionalist in-laws, who accuse her of an infamous affair with Yeshwant Vardhe. As Anuradha's world spirals into chaos, will she succumb or rise against the odds? 'Satta' is a captivating tale of power, betrayal, and survival.
