Plot

Set against the backdrop of 1972 Canada, the film "Saint-Narcisse" tells the riveting tale of Dominic, a 22-year-old narcissist enthralled by his own reflection. Captivated by his image, he spends hours in front of the mirror, taking Polaroids of himself, feeding his unique fetish. His world, however, is rocked when his cherished grandmother passes away, unearthing a family secret that sends him spiraling into a world of intrigue and darkness. The narrative takes a dramatic turn when Dominic discovers that his mother, presumed dead in childbirth, is in fact alive and harboring a startling secret - he has a twin brother, Daniel. Raised in the confines of a remote monastery, Daniel has been held captive by a malevolent priest, isolated from the world. As destiny weaves its intricate web, Dominic embarks on a quest to reunite with his estranged family. His journey leads him to a secluded cabin nestled in the heart of the woods, where his mother Beatrice lives in exile with an enigmatic young woman. Once reunited, the identical brothers, with their strikingly beautiful faces, find themselves entangled in a peculiar blend of sex, revenge, and redemption. "Saint-Narcisse" is a pulsating exploration of familial bonds and personal discovery, as the twins navigate the labyrinth of their past while confronting the haunting shadows of their future. This is a tale that is as much about self-obsession as it is about the relentless pursuit of truth and liberation.
