Plot

In the adrenaline-fueled world of extreme sports, Jonathan Cross finds himself enticed by the enigmatic Alexi Petrovich into the high-octane chaos of Rollerball, a sport that thrives on the razor-edge of danger. Rollerball is not for the faint-hearted; its players, clad in rollerblades, must maneuver a hefty metal ball into towering goals, all the while evading the thunderous momentum of marauding motorcyclists. There's a catch - in this brutal arena, rules are nonexistent. Jonathan, alongside his fearless teammates, Marcus and Aurora, quickly masters the reckless dance of Rollerball, his career surging like a comet across the sky. However, the sinister underbelly of the sport soon reveals itself. Alexi, in a twisted pursuit of ratings, begins manipulating the game, bribing players to intensify the violence, bathing the field in blood for the audience's morbid delight. The viewers are hooked, and the stakes rise to deadly heights. In the grip of this ruthless promoter, Jonathan, Marcus, and Aurora find their lives hanging in the balance, their survival intertwined with the very game they once loved. When a seemingly ordinary trip turns into a deadly ambush, Jonathan narrowly escapes, but the game is far from over. A climactic showdown looms; the final game of Rollerball becomes a desperate struggle for survival against their true adversary - Alexi Petrovich himself. In the face of a planned public execution and a ravenous audience, the question remains: can Jonathan exact his revenge and reclaim the soul of Rollerball?
