Plot

"Due South" is a compelling tale of a dedicated Canadian Mountie, Fraser, who ventures into the urban jungle of Chicago, driven by his quest to unmask his father's killer. His pursuit takes an unexpected turn when he uncovers the killer's identity, leading him back to a fellow Mountie. As a result, he is shunned by his comrades, relegated to Chicago - a city that is a stark contrast to his natural affinity for the great outdoors. Upon his return to Chicago, Fraser discovers a world turned upside down. To his surprise, a mysterious blonde has assumed the identity of his former partner, Ray Vecchio. The city, it seems, has easily accepted this puzzling change. However, Fraser, with his unwavering sense of justice, refuses to ignore the peculiar situation. Striding forth into the labyrinth of crime-ridden streets, he finds an unlikely ally in Stanley Raymond Kowalski, who has been thrust into the role of his new partner. Despite initial differences, the duo soon finds common ground, united by their shared determination to uphold justice. Together, they grapple with the complexities of their personal histories and the relentless underbelly of Chicago's criminal world. "Due South" weaves a riveting narrative of loyalty, identity, and the relentless pursuit of justice. It's a story that explores the clash of cultures and personalities, and the unusual friendships that can grow amidst the gritty realism of urban crime.
