Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles (2006)

In the heart of an interstellar war, the Robotech Expeditionary Force (REF) prepares for a decisive battle against the alien Invid, seeking to reclaim Earth from the clutches of these invaders. Among the determined warriors are REF pilot Scott Bernard and the Invid princess Ariel, both tirelessly battling on parallel paths to infiltrate the enemy's fortress, Reflex Point. However, on the brink of the assault, a distress signal echoes from the flagship SDF-3, helmed by Admiral Rick Hunter. The ensuing mission uncovers a chilling truth; their own ally, the technologically superior Haydenites, have duplicitously betrayed them. The advanced technology they’ve generously provided is, in fact, a weapon designed to facilitate their own ambitions of domination, revealed only as the Invid retreat. As Scott and Ariel unite with the fleet in the cold void of space, the unlikely trio – including the newly rescued android Janice Em – must navigate the murky waters of mistrust among their comrades. With the fate of their home planet hanging in the balance, they must outwit their new adversary and halt the Haydenites' sinister scheme before the sands of time run out. Will the REF prevail, or will they fall victim to a shadowy web of deceit? Only the chronicles will tell.
