Robosapien: Rebooted (2013)

In the bustling heart of New Orleans, a brilliant scientist named Allan Topher works tirelessly at Kinetech Laboratories. His remarkable creation, a robot programmed with artificial intelligence known as Code 328, is designed for search and rescue missions and to learn the intricacies of human emotions. However, the corporation's cold-hearted CEO, Porter, sees the robot as a potential tool for destruction and plans to sell a hundred units to the shadowy dealer Esperenza for a hefty sum. When Allan realizes Porter's intentions, he vehemently opposes the idea. As a result, he's promptly dismissed from the company. But before he leaves, Allan strategically erases his files and absconds with Code 328. A relentless chase ensues, leading to the robot being lost, broken into pieces, and discarded in a nondescript garbage container. Meanwhile, in the same city, a young, intelligent boy named Henry Montgomery Keller has just won a school science fair. Despite his achievement, he's incessantly hounded by a relentless bully. Seeking refuge, he stumbles upon the discarded pieces of Code 328 in the garbage. With a knack for science, Henry takes the robot home, fixes it, and affectionately christens it "Cody." Henry introduces Cody to his sister, Meagan, and his mother, Joanna. Cody quickly becomes not only Henry's loyal companion but also the Keller family's source of pride and joy. Unbeknownst to Henry, the search for Cody's "father," Allan, is fraught with danger. As he and Cody inadvertently cross paths with Allan, they become the targets of Porter's relentless security team. Now, the unlikely trio, along with Henry's family, must navigate a thrilling adventure to protect Cody and prevent the catastrophic sale of a hundred robots to Esperenza.
