Stylist to the stars and bridal fashion guru, Carly Mason has masterfully choreographed the most glamorous weddings in Los Angeles, adorning celebrities on their big day. She thrives behind the scenes, letting her clients steal the limelight. Her craft is her passion, but a latent desire to transform into a full-time designer remains unexplored, suppressed by her wish to avoid the daunting spotlight. Post a high-profile wedding in Mexico, Carly's best friend and college roommate, Sydney Carlton, lures her to a luxurious spa retreat at the Marin Woods Lodge she manages, nestled on the outskirts of San Francisco. This unplanned getaway is meant to help Carly heal from her breakup with her ex-boyfriend, Liam, a wedding photographer. What Sydney considers a twist of fate, Carly finds herself amidst a wedding celebration of two college acquaintances, Andrea and Jason. Among the wedding guests is Matt Harper, Carly's college crush; a man she almost dated once, but destiny had other plans. A dormant spark still flickers between them, waiting to be reignited. From the sidelines, the lodge's sous-chef, Nick Rivera, keenly observes the dynamics between Carly and Matt. Just like Carly, Nick harbors unfulfilled dreams; his is to modernize the lodge’s archaic culinary style, infusing it with flavors from his Filipino roots, a change firmly resisted by the head chef, Edward. As Carly and Nick find themselves in each other’s company, they become each other's cheerleaders, encouraging one another to chase their professional dreams. In this unexpected journey, Carly starts to rethink her perspective on love and destiny. She initially believed this trip was fate’s plan to reconnect her with Matt, but maybe, just maybe, fate had a different, more unexpected plan in store for her.
