In the heart of Chicago thrives the ambitious Katherine Benson, a thirty-something workaholic at the helm of the renowned real estate investment firm, Benson Alliance. Co-founding this enterprise with her guiding light, her father Edward Benson, Katherine has etched her name in the echelons of success. Despite her half-year casual relationship with Charles Hodges, she remains cautious of commitment, wary that men either shy away from her success or harbor hidden professional motives, like Charles who eyes a corporate merger.
