In the heart of Java, the lives of Setyo, Siti, and Ludiro intertwine in a tale as timeless as the Javanese Ramayana's Wayang Wong they perform. Setyo and Siti, a couple bound not just by love but also by their shared struggles, eke out a modest living in the village, selling earthenware products. Their usual domestic discord, rooted in communication gaps and financial strife, takes a dramatic turn as Setyo's earthenware business teeters on the brink of bankruptcy. While Setyo grapples with the inevitable, the neglected Siti finds herself increasingly drawn to the enigmatic Ludiro. As the village’s stockyard chief, Ludiro enjoys wealth and influence, but his heart yearns for the one thing money can't buy - Siti's love. He's a man accustomed to getting what he desires, but winning Siti's heart proves to be a challenge beyond his wildest dreams. This complex love triangle spirals into a tumultuous civil conflict that shakes the very foundation of their village. What began as a pursuit of love metamorphoses into a battle of wills, and the repercussions of their choices not only bring about extremity and injustice, but also the unbearable pain of losing loved ones.
