In the shadowy world of contract killing, Lucrèce stands out as a lethal blend of art and danger. With a taste for opera and a knack for poisons, she navigates her life on the razor's edge between beauty and death. Yearning for a fresh start, she decides to take on one last, challenging assignment nestled in the majestic heart of the Swiss Alps, in a castle teeming with music and secrets.
Lucrèce's final act unravels on the grand stage of the illustrious Festival of Ermeux, where she goes undercover as a soprano. Her unsuspecting prey is Alexander Child, a British baritone with a newly acquired distillery in Scotland. His recent victory against British Oil has inadvertently made him a stumbling block to a high-stakes pipeline project, forcing the corporation to choose between surrender and assassination.
As Lucrèce prepares to strike her deadly crescendo, the plot thickens. French counter-espionage catches wind of the intended hit and dispatches Rico, a seasoned former agent. Rico's mission: infiltrate the orchestra, unmask the murderous medley of characters, and save Child from his impending doom. Rico, however, is blind to the identity of the killer, and finds himself lost in a symphony of suspects, from a haughty conductor to a peculiarly tense festival director.
