Nestled in the heart of America's backwoods, a community of hardy, good-natured dirt farmers leads a simple existence. Their tranquility shatters when they unknowingly consume a radioactive concoction, triggering a grotesque transformation into flesh-craving, tobacco-spitting redneck zombies, their once friendly demeanor replaced by an insatiable thirst for human flesh. Concurrently, a band of seven urbane city-dwellers, seeking a serene nature getaway, unsuspectingly wander into this unholy nightmare. The wilderness they hoped would offer tranquility becomes a grotesque labyrinth where they must pit their city-bred wit and courage against these monstrous kinfolk from hell. Every step echoes with the dread of dismemberment, every rustle hides a cannibalistic threat. As the nightmarish contagion spreads like wildfire, more and more of the 'down-home' folks, lured by the toxic brew, mutate into horrifying redneck zombies.
