In the frost-laced solitude of her late mother's Lake Tahoe cabin, Olivia, a yet-to-be-successful vampire romance novelist, finds herself spending her Christmas holidays alone, lost in the silence of the snow. Her quiet existence is shattered when an injured bat crashes against her frosted window in the dead of night. Imbued with a compassionate spirit, Olivia brings the wounded creature into her garage, nursing it with care and warmth. As dawn breaks, Olivia finds herself confronted with an unexpected transformation - the injured bat is now a charismatic vampire named Luke. With his need for sustenance, she resorts to the local butcher, stocking up on pig's blood, and soon her enchanting, nocturnal guest regains his strength, his voice, and his enigmatic charm. As the snow outside deepens, so does their unlikely bond inside the cozy cabin. Yet, as Olivia delves further into this relationship, she can't help but question Luke's true intentions. His mysterious past begins to loom in the background, threatening to disrupt their fragile friendship. This Yuletide, Olivia finds herself entangled in a story that is far more enthralling and dangerous than any she could pen.
