Plot
Will Graham quit his job with the FBI after a physically and emotionally traumatic encounter with the cannibal Hannibal Lecter, whom he helped captured. He's been asked to come out of retirement to catch a serial killer they are calling "The Tooth Fairy" who is killing families on nights when there is a full moon. Graham goes to Lecter to seek his help in capturing the killer, who strikes up a correspondence with Lecter. But Lecter has his own agenda and is not above placing Graham's family in danger to get what he wants as Graham desperately pursues the killer.
