In the haunting echo of last year's memories, Catherine, once brimming with joy, retreats to the secluded sanctuary of a lake house, owned by her closest friend, Virginia. This time, Catherine's visit isn't a casual getaway but a desperate attempt at self-imposed exile, a quest for healing after two earth-shattering events that have left her world in ruins. But the once vibrant tapestry of their friendship begins to unravel as Catherine perceives a growing chasm between her and Virginia.
