In the vibrant heart of Thrissur, we meet Joy Thakkolkaran, a spirited entrepreneur with a nose for unconventional business opportunities. Joy's venture, 'Punyalan Agarbathis', is a unique enterprise that crafts incense sticks from a resource as unassuming as elephant dung. The tale of Joy's struggle and perseverance paints a compelling portrait of a man navigating a world of bureaucratic hurdles and unforeseen obstacles.
The journey begins with Joy striking a deal with the Devaswom Board for his unusual raw material. However, the arrival of a new Chairman suspends his agreement, plunging Joy into a frantic search to source his crucial ingredient. This quest shapes the first half of the narrative, where Joy is pitted against near-impossible odds, and yet, his indomitable spirit refuses to buckle.
When Joy finally acquires the raw material, he is confronted with a fresh challenge - a city-wide hartal that threatens to disrupt his deadlines. Caught between the ticking clock of a court mandate and the standstill of the hartal, Joy makes a daring decision to smuggle the dung. This audacious move, however, doesn't go unnoticed by the RIP followers who retaliate, leading to the destruction of Joy's storage and transportation means.
The latter half of the film sees Joy confronted with an onslaught of problems, as his adversaries employ various tactics to break him. Yet, it's in this crucible of adversity that Joy's resilience shines brightest. With the unwavering support of his friends and family, and his own relentless optimism, Joy battles each setback.
