Kishinchand, a notorious forger of passports, lives a life under the watchful eyes of the law. At the desperate plea of his wife, Shanti, and son, Pyarelal, he attempts to relinquish his criminal ways and embrace an honest life. However, a tempting offer from Shyamlal, involving a golden suitcase in exchange for a counterfeit passport, pulls him back into the abyss of crime.
