On October 18th, 2012, the world suffered a cataclysmic change when the formidable Meteor Bay-Leder 7 collided with Earth. Unleashing earthquakes and tidal waves, and shrouding the Northern hemisphere in a relentless dust cloud, the meteor transformed the planet into a chilling, desolate wasteland. The once buzzing streets of Russia lay in ruins, and Europe morphed into a bone-chilling "death zone" blanketed in snow. The meteor’s impact signalled the end of civilization as we knew it, and for Tom Parker, head of security at the American Embassy in Berlin, it marked a painful personal loss as he was forced to abandon his wife and daughter in the freezing German capital. Three years later, the resilient survivors have sought refuge in the less harsh equator regions, carving out a new existence in an environment that offers little hope of ever reverting back to its former state. Life takes an unexpected turn when a long-forgotten experimental military satellite flickers back to life, sparking an expedition to locate the base controlling it, buried somewhere under the icy remnants of old Europe. The journey across the once vibrant continent, now a frigid "death zone", takes a shocking twist when a mysterious force from the ruins of Berlin obliterates the expedition's plane. Fearful of a potential threat to the newly established United Northern States, the President orders a daring expedition to unearth and neutralize the base and its satellite. Haunted by the memory of his abandoned family, Tom Parker volunteers to spearhead a team of elite specialists on a perilous journey across the frozen landscape. With only ground vehicles, scant intel, and zero radio contact, Parker is driven by a desperate hope: that his wife and daughter might be among the survivors in Berlin. As they venture into the icy wilderness, the team encounters a group of survivors who have transformed Berlin's subway system into a makeshift home. Their leader is none other than Gregor Starndorf, the father of Anna Starndorf, who's part of Parker's team and the former operator of the rogue satellite. Gregor, having discovered the means to manipulate the satellite's microwave power, has devised a plan to reignite the European atmosphere, triggering a weather reboot. But within the icy labyrinth of the facility, a hidden enemy lurks, seeking revenge on a world they believe has forsaken them. "Post Impact" is a chilling tale of human resilience and survival against the odds, a desperate quest set in a world frozen in time, and an ultimate test of hope amidst despair. This is a journey where every step could be the last, and every breath could reveal a shocking truth.
