But this is the story of Leonardo in his early years. 25-year old Leonardo was as passionate about romance as he was about inventions and as sharp with a sword as he was with his tongue. But his cleverness gets him pulled not just into the political machinations of Florence's wealthy merchant families but also a dark and secretive cult that Leonardo hopes can help him uncover the secrets to life that he seeks out.
