In the stark yet intriguing backdrop of Pompei, we find our protagonist, Victor (Aliocha Schneider). A young man left adrift in the wake of his father's abandonment, Victor is the reluctant caretaker of his younger brother, Jimmy. Their means of survival is as desperate as it is daring, with Victor stealing artifacts from nearby historical sites. The unexpected arrival of the fiercely romantic Billie (Garance Marillier) stirs something within Victor - an awakening that threatens the delicate equilibrium of his community of forsaken misfits.
