Plymouth Adventure (1952)

In the year 1620, the seasoned Capt. Christopher Jones finds himself at the helm of the historic Mayflower, a ship destined for a daring voyage across the tumultuous Atlantic. Contracted to transport a group of religious non-conformists, these brave souls are on a quest for a land where they can freely practice their beliefs. Initially, Jones sees this as a business opportunity, his eyes set on the handsome profit the voyage promises. This ill-fated romance, taking place in the backdrop of their storm-filled crossing, reaches a dramatic climax off the coast of Cape Cod, forever changing the course of their lives. Arriving in New England at the edge of a harsh winter, the voyage takes a tragic turn forcing Jones to transition from a hardened businessman to a man genuinely invested in the success of the settlers in this New World.
