In the bustling heart of Toronto's Arthur Meighen High School, a rebellious spirit named Claire Paxton (Maslany) battles her way through a repeat of her senior year. Haunted by a tarnished reputation and a home life tainted by her alcoholic mother, Claire is a wayward warrior armed with a sharp tongue and shielded by her ever-present headphones. Her desire to graduate is fueled more by her disdain for summer school than any real motivation to complete her education. Amid the mundane routine of high school, Claire's life is punctuated by her entanglements with two distinctly different males.
