Reynolds and Cyril Woodcock run the Woodcock fashion house. They serve an exclusively upscale clientele. Reynolds is devoted to his work and has no outside relationships. That changes when he meets Alma, a waitress. She challenges him to stop being so controlling, but he is reluctant to open up, even as they start falling for each other.
