Vibrant and tough yet endearing, 12-year-old Micky navigates life in the safe haven of his grandmother's house, along with his younger siblings. Their world takes an unexpected turn when a meteorite crashes into their backyard, igniting a fantastical belief that it's a celestial gift from their deceased parents, believed to be residing among the stars. This mystical rock, however, is seized by the government and entrusted to a local university, sparking the children's relentless quest to reclaim what they believe is rightfully theirs.
