Plot
On the night of their silver anniversary, Joe and Aggie Bruno find themselves locked in a bitter argument that ends with a decision to divorce. Their journey towards separate lives leads them both to Reno, the heart of law firms specializing in separation cases. Unknowingly, they become clients of the same firm - Wattles and Swift, the city's most prominent and successful.
Their daughters, Prudence and Pansy, follow suit, not to file for divorce, but with a mission to reunite their parents. The plot thickens as Wattles and Swift find themselves entangled in a fierce rivalry with the equally formidable firm, Jackson, Jackson, Jackson, and Jackson. This competing firm, now housing a freshly appointed judge, has sparked a price war that is shaking the foundations of Reno's legal scene.
Adding to Wattles and Swift's woes is Ace Crosby, a scorned ex-husband, who is thirsty for revenge against Wattles for granting his wife a divorce. Amidst the chaos, Wattles adopts a clever disguise as Widow Hanover to evade Crosby's wrath and accidentally ends up as Joe's legal correspondent.
Meanwhile, the Bruno daughters find themselves romantically entangled with the lawyers, adding a fresh layer of complexity to the situation. However, when Aggie discovers her husband's connection with Widow Hanover, she switches alliances to the opposing firm, setting the stage for a courtroom showdown teeming with chaos, confusion, and comic relief.
In a whirlwind of disguises, love affairs, and fierce legal battles, Peach-o-Reno spins a tale of family, rivalry, and the crazy lengths people will go to protect what's dear to them. This movie is a rollercoaster ride of emotions, taking the viewer through the highs and lows of love and separation, all culminating in an unforgettable courtroom climax.
