Plot

In the heart of Paris, Alice Ovitz, a dedicated pharmacist and self-confessed Woody Allen fanatic, finds solace in her obsession since her teenage years. Her world revolves around his films, and she even converses with his poster in her room, finding wisdom in his cinematic dialogues. Alice's love for Woody Allen is as intense as her love for jazz, a passion she shares with Pierre, a man she meets in a night-club. Convinced he is her prince charming, her hopes shatter when Pierre falls for her sister Hélène, leading to a whirlwind romance and eventual marriage. Years later, Alice remains single, managing the pharmacy that once belonged to her father. She firmly believes in the therapeutic power of movies, prescribing them for a myriad of ailments. Despite her father's incessant matchmaking, Alice can't envision a future with any of the men he introduces, including the unassuming alarm technician, Victor. However, life takes an unpredictable turn when Victor, aware of Alice's devotion to Woody Allen, arranges a meeting with the revered director in Paris. The encounter leaves Alice with an unexpected piece of advice that might just be the cure she's been searching for. Amidst the jazzy Parisian nightlife and Woody Allen's sage wisdom, Alice embarks on a journey that might finally lead her to love and self-discovery. Will she find her real-life prince charming, or will she find something even more meaningful in the process? Paris-Manhattan is a charming exploration of love, cinema, and the unexpected turns life can often take.
